I bought the medium size duvet, immediately washed it,(did beautiful through wash & dryer),then stuffed it with foam and recycled clothes.Our boxer loves it.She now chooses her Molly Mutt bed over sleeping in between us in ours.The beautiful pattered fabric is thick, good quality cotton canvas but not rough or scratchy.Even our very large bloodhound mix like to nap on it- and she fits comfortably on the medium size.Unless you have 2 large dogs sharing one bed or a dog the size of a small pony- choose the medium and save some money & space.I'm thrilled with this dog bed and will buy a back-up duvet for when this one wears out in a few years. Great value item.

I recently purchased an expensive down comforter and wanted to make sure to protect it with a duvet cover. I also wanted a duvet cover that would feel nice and soft, give my room a clean and modern feel, and most importantly, not break the bank.

I would highly recommend this duvet and pillowcase cover set, especially for the price. The feel of the duvet cover is very soft and the colors look great. Neutral, clean lines, color looks just the way I thought it would from the pictures.

The only note I would make is that the duvet cover, after I washed it, is not as thin and crisp looking as it is in the picture. It's actually much softer and thicker than it looks, which is not a bad thing at all (unless you're looking for a more thin-sheet look and feel). I'm sure if I ironed it, it would look crisper, but I'm pretty happy with this.

Home Flocked Comforter Set - Purple Review

I have been trying to find this comforter for so many months now. At one point I was willing to buy it used or on ebay for about $500. Well good thing I didn't. It was just my luck that I was outbid last night on an ebay auction for it and I started searching elsewhere. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found out it was back in stock at Amazon. I thought I would have to wait a while and pre-order it first but today I got the email that it is going to be shipped out tomorrow. It's not back on the target website yet but if you have been wanting this bed set for a while get it asap before it sells out everywhere all over again. I'm super excited to pay a normal price for it and to be getting it soon!!!!

3 Pieces Solid Mocha Brown Soft Microsuede Duvet Cover with Shams Set Queen Size Bedding Review

Not what I expected. This comforter is NOT micro suede, although it is soft -- I believe the material is actually just polyester or cotton. The comforter is pretty flimsy, and the backing is very thin gold silk. I am afraid to wash it, even though it is washable, hence it either rips open or the cotton inside it bunches together and it becomes lumpy like the last comforter I ordered from Amazon. The pillows are nice though, but the comforter definitely could have been better quality, even for $60. If I could do it over again I would but one from a store where I could see and feel the quality of the fabric.

City Scene Eden Duvet Set Review

I was expecting the duvet as it's described in the product specifications, to my surprise I received a duvet COVER set.

I couldn't comment on the quality of the product since I didn't open it (I returned it) but it looks like regular sheets quality through the clear plastic.

I am really sad because I had gotten all excited about it -it was going to be for my guest bedroom- it looked so perfect in the picture and I even bought wall art to match it :(

HN Collection "Windowpane" 500 Thread Count Cotton Sateen Duvet Cover Set QUEEN DARK GREEN Review

I was excited to get the duvet as I had been looking for "the right one" for a long time.When I opened it, I was disappointed because the pattern was plaid and in the picture it looks textured.I understand that pictures can be a little off but this as plain Christmas style plaid...red and green and they are bigger squares than it looks like in the picture hints the thought of it being textured vs plaid. Even my girlfriend mentioned it.

Also if you look at the picture and how it looks like the green part at the top is folded over...it makes it look like its a double sided duvet or at least to where you can fold the top over to give it a folding layer. Its not...the bottom is plain white.The Duvet also fits way too big for my queen size bed and it doesn't have ties to keep your goose-down in place.

The only real positive I guess is that its REALLY COMFORTABLE.I made my bed and jumped in to see if I could grow into it but although you can definatly feel the 500 TC Egyptian Cotton, Im returning it. I love Christmas, but I dont love the plaid christmas colors as the theme to my bed all year round!!

Waterford Tatiana Duvet Cover Review

When I first started shopping for duvets, I didn't think it was necessary to spend hundreds of dollars for a nice duvet. But after buying and returning several, I decided to go with this Waterford duvet and am finally happy with my purchase.

I have an oversize king down comforter (similar to a CA King) and none of the duvets I got would fit correctly or they just weren't that luxurious. If you are looking for something of high quality, this duvet is not only exquisite, it's extremely well made. You can feel the quality as soon as you pull it out of the packaging because it has a weight to it that none of other duvets had. The material is heavy, well constructed and has a lot of detailing and the colors are very subtle but beautiful.

I love this duvet and it adds just the right finishing touch to my newly decorated bedroon. It just proves that sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

Purchasing and shipping was fantastic.The only thing that bothered me was the picture makes it seem more pastel shaded than it actually is.The brown is dark and both the brown and blue are shiny.But I still kept it and use it, except for the pillow cases that were mostly brown, it was a little too much.

Tommy Hilfiger All American Denim Duvet Cover Review

Received the two twin duvet covers I ordered in a timely manner. Was a little disappointed that it is only denim on ONE side, not two. The second side has a thin, navy, sheet-like material on it. A little worried about how it will hold up. Had ordered the Ralph Lauren ones off their site and liked them better but one had stains on it and they couldn't locate a replacement anywhere or tell me if they were going to get any more. Had to return those.
There is no "Ithaca stripe pattern." It's denim on one side and that thin navy material (like a thin sheet) on the reverse side.

My three inserts, bought from different places at different times, have fit well. I also like the price. Many comforter covers sell for hundreds of dollars, and still perform poorly. Blancho's are reasonable priced and nicely made. I will certainly buy more as the need arises.

When I first saw this offering, I was amazed.How can 1,000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheet sets be so inexpensive?So I bought a set.As it turns out, these sheets are not what they claim to be.They don't feel like cotton!Now I know why they were so cheap!This sheet is not 1,000 thread count, it is not Egyptian cotton, it is not even cotton!It feels like it is Polyester microfiber - probably about 200 thread count!I have a set of 200 thread count polyester microfiber sheet sets, and this set feels exactly like those!It is amazing that this seller gets away with these false claims - shame on them for deceiving the public like this.These sheets feel nothing like the Pike Street 1,000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheet sets.Pike Street 1,000-Thread-Count Egyptian Cotton Queen Sheet Set, IvoryNow those are nice sheets!These cheap sets are 1/3 the weight, and no where near as soft as the Pike Street sets.You get what you pay for.As they say...if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.To me, this shows poor judgement on Amazon.com to allow this type of deceptive advertising on their web site.I am returning these sets back to Amazon.

ADDED 12/15/09: Notice how they now are advertising these sets as "Soft Touch As 1000 Thread Count Sheet Set".They admit they were misrepresenting this product!Note that under the "Product Features" they are still falsely advertising this sheet set as "1000 thread count, 100 percent Egyptian cotton".This is simply not true.They should be required to change that claim as well!In addition, the set I received did not have a, "6 inch hem with detailing on flat sheet and pillowcases".Mine came with a 2 inch plain hem.The drop on the fitted sheet was only 14 inches - how does this fit an 18 inch mattress?I don't think there is one claim from this vendor that is the truth!

ADDED 12/18/09: Now they are only charging $19.49?A week ago they were charging over $30.00!I guess now that they had to tell the truth that these are NOT 1,000 thread count 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, they aren't selling.I feel bad for anyone who bought these sheets and paid a higher price.Not only did this company rip them off on the price, they also ripped them off on the quality.If they had any sense of dignity, they would return the excess money back to those customers.I returned mine, so I don't have to worry about this.If you are still considering buying this sheet - you get what you deserve!

DwellStudio Draper Stripe Duvet Set Review

This is my third Dwell Studio purchase.This duvet set just arrived and it is gorgeous.The "ash" color is more of a coffee, and the saffron trim is darker than you would guess from the photos.

Unfortunately, Dwell does not feel it is necessary to supply Amazon with adequate photos of their products.The saffron trim, by the way, is NOT toward the foot of the bed as the pictures show.The trim is on the perimeter of the duvet.

I am also knocking a star of my review as the pillow cases are enormous. The cases are hanging off my pillows - at least 20 inches on either side! It looks terrible.As I mentioned, this is my third king duvet set from Dwell and all the sets had x-tra large pillow cases.

No one has pillows this big Dwell Studios!Please stop making these absurd sizes. The duvet is great, but I really don't feel like spending another $50 for normal sized shams.

I paid $57 for the king set,nice! I was expecting a pinkish/tanish color, THE COLOR is TAN/Brownish.Yes it feels like SOFT denim which I like. Remember a sheet is gonna be on your body not this. MARRIKAS 600TC Egyptian Cotton QUEEN BLUE Duvet Cover Set Review

The package was supposed to include 2 shams and one duvet cover. The package I received had only one sham in it.

Customer service was quite responsive and sent a replacement sham that arrived after 3 days, but unfortunately the replacement sham was a very faded light blue while the two items originally bought were a deep and rich blue. So it will be impossible to use these items as a set.

Since I had purchased these items especially for the visit of my 71 year old mother at my house, sending it all back for yet another exchange wasn't really an option either. I will now try to get another set of shams, but I will be doing that at the local Bed Bath & Beyond rather than online.

I am disappointed and will probably not order from Marrikas again.

MARRIKAS 300TC Egyptian Cotton TWIN WHITE STRIPE Duvet Cover Set Review

These duvet covers are on my bed right now. I'm also using one of the king sized sheet sets. The duvet covers haven't been washed yet and they are just a bit oversized. If they wash like the sheets have, and I fully expect them to, they will shrink down to exactly the right size in the first wash and then stay there.

This is a great manufacturer. The prices are amazing for the quality. The duvet covers feel like you are sleeping on silk. The sheets are just a bit more substantial, which is what you would want in sheets, but still soft and wonderful feeling.

If you need bedding, buy this manufacturers stuff.

Tommy Hilfiger Hibiscus Hill Duvet Set Review

As an online shopper I rely heavily on the detailed information found under the "product features" section.Almost EVERYTHING was wrong with my order!

It said, "Set includes one full/queen comforter, 1 queen flat sheet, 1 queen fitted sheet, 2 standard pillowcases, 2 standard shams * Duvet 88 by 92 inches * Shams have zippered closure * Brushed during finishing process for extra softness * 100-Percent cotton"

I did NOT receive one full/queen comforter, 1 queen flat sheet, 1 queen fitted sheet, 2 standard pillowcases.

I DID receive the duvet cover, 2 shams with zippered closures and a mostly matching dust ruffle which was nice since the dust ruffle wasn't mentioned at all.

I like what I DID receive, the fabric is pretty and not visible in the online image there's a lovely eyelet detail throughout the entire duvet cover.I would think that the dust ruffle would match the reverse side of the duvet and shams, but the pattern is different entirely.

Someone should edit the "Product Features" section a little more, LOT MORE closely!

Beacon Looms Burlington Quilted Duvet & Sham Set Review

What a genius idea - a coverlet and duvet cover in one. I ordered the king size in ivory, and it's beautiful. I had wanted a duvet cover originally, since I wanted something I could wash, but down comforters are too hot for my husband in the summertime. This is a perfect compromise! We've been using it for a week or so, and I've already machine washed it with great results. It looks like a quilt, and it's not as satin-y as I was worried it would be. Just looks like a high-end cotton quilt. I love the shams, but they are a bit awkward to put on since the zipper is along the bottom and doesn't go all the way to the ends. But otherwise, this is a great product. I look forward to filling it with a duvet in the wintertime.
