I have never owned a wool comforter before, but I was told they were great. I do like this one. It is warm, but doesn't make you too hot like some down comforters.I like the square compartments that will keep the wool spread throughout the blanket. I don't have another experience with a wool comforter to compare it to, but so far I like it.
