So tonight my flatmate's cat sprayed on my bed, which sent me on a quest for 1500 thread count sheets and a more airy feel for my bedroom. Wouldn't you know it, on the first page of results for a Queen sized duvet cover I ran into the very set that just got an unwelcome golden shower. Oddly enough, one of the reviews of this duvet set was quite unfavorable.I can't imagine why!
I have been sleeping on this set for three years and while I'll admit, the pillow cases don't really close up well on the back and the fabric absolutely needs ironing to look its best - they have never lost the soft silky feeling they came with. Sure, after dozens of washings the deep red cinnamon has faded to more of an orange rust but look it's been three years. I'm okay with that.
If you have a maple or cherry bed frame and enough space in your room that a dark bed doesn't suffocate it, I would recommend this duvet set to anyone. I've been very happy with my purchase for a long time now. It's stylish, comfortable, and not like anything I've seen in other living spaces.
